Ok, so I've had the updated/new refs for my FT kids done for a year now and had been waiting till they were all done and I had profiles written for them. ...That isn't happening at the moment cause writing profiles are hard for some reason for some of them because the right words don't want to come out. So I'm just gonna update/post the refs and worry about profiles at a later date, although there are some that are done, like Mel's here.

Personal History:
Melana is only the daughter of Gajeel and Levy and was one of the first Next Gen Fairies. She's a smart and powerful mage, attempting combining her parents magic into one at a young age. She takes great pride is using what she now calls 'Dragon Slayer Solid Script' magic but she can use both desperately if she wishes. She has a love for books that rivals her mothers and is almost unparalleled in matters of the mind. However don't let her smarts fool you, Mel is also rather strong and powerful, being one of the strongest of the kids. 

Mel has formed her own team consisting of her best friend, Layla Dragneel, Layla's younger brother, Iggy, and her 'cousins', Gliss and Raine Fullbuster. Along with her own young Exceed partner, Diana, and Layla's Exceed, Skye. They take a variety of missions and true to Fairy Tail form cause (unintended) destruction. Melana also enjoys training and takes great enjoyment in joining the guilds brawls, unless she's currently taking a nap.

Personality: Melana can come off as brash and loud but she's actually a very kind person. She is loyal and protective and will do most anything to help her Nakama. Melana also has a lazy streak in her, sometimes preferring to nap than anything else. She is courageous and will go for most anything she wants, often dragging her best friend along for the ride. Mel also likes to argue with Simone Scarlet over who's older, as they're both seventeen but Mel was born a few months before.
